Especially if it seems like you’ve suffered this for ever, right?
I went cold turkey; with sweets, cake and chocolate once.
This was definitely the hard way.
My face came out in spots.
I had the sweats (not pleasant)
Crazy, crazy headaches
And the most weird, messed up dreams you’d ever imagine.
Anyone would think that I was coming off crack cocaine!!!
At the time that’s all I knew about kicking my habit… and I needed to do it so I could help others do it to,
because I like to practice what I preach…
in the fitness industry…
WHY would anyone listen to a personal trainer who is fat, and constantly eating chocolate!
It took about 2-3 months in the end (and i was miserable)
Now, I know you can get that down to a couple of weeks, and even down to a few days! With the right tools and strategy.
So what happens when you no longer have cravings?
You have the ability, without chemical influence, to make a decision about the foods you choose.
You can imagine how liberating that is…
Eating food without guilt, without pressure… just enjoyment.
Step 1. Hydrate
Water, plain ordinary water.
No fizzy stuff, funky teas, coffee, or any of that kinda stuff.
Just water. Between 2 and 3 litres of the stuff per day for 7 days straight. Over the next few days,
you’re gonna have some chemical detoxification happening and it’ll possibly cause some headaches, spots and sweating.
Not pleasant, but well worth it.
The water will help flush your system quicker and reduce the symptoms.
The next step coming tomorrow will seem counter-intuitive, but if you follow my lead, your cravings will be a thing of the past.
